Zaynah’s pretty popular on TikTok and her food palette is definitely hyper-saturated. That means tasty and spicy stuff to me! Her book, Desified, is inspired by the core principles of Ramadan, during which one meal is eaten before sunrise and another after sunset (in 2024 it starts on March 10th). The interesting thing here is that we are focusing on South Asian flavors with some inventions like Chai churros and Cheat’s ‘birria’ tacos.
